Jeffrey Dann, Ph. D., L. AcJeffrey currently teaches and practices in Boulder, Colorado. He practiced for many years on the Big Island of Hawaii. His previous training was in cultural and medical anthropology. He conducted fieldwork in Japan where he also studied Kendo, Shiatsu, and Seitai-ho at the Mito Tobukan Dojo in Ibaraki Prefecture. He attained the rank of yondan in Kendo. He is currently president of the Traditional Japanese Acupuncture Foundation, and has played a key role in networking and promoting Japanese acupuncture and bodywork.Write something about yourself. I guess, being part of Traditional Japanese Acupuncture Foundation is a good thing because you are being introduced in the world of traditional Japanese medicine. Up to these days, medical field still acknowledges the effectiveness of traditional medicine and it is a good thing that a lot of people still practice it up to these days.
